Report: Investment Suggestion¶

Dependence on the selected path (tree hierarchy)¶

The displayed report items do not correspond to (do not depend on) the selected tree structure on the left or in the path at the top.

Investment proposal report form:¶

The setting of filter combinations in the left part of the form (Suppliers, Branches) influences the display of all products in the right part of the form that meet the given conditions (Selected products).

The user then uses the |<| (adds selected) or |<<| (adds everything) buttons to select the products that will be included in the calculation of the optimal suggested orders list. Next, the user selects the Type of replenishment (described below), the Value, and decides what price (stock vs. purchase) will be used to calculate the report. If the user wants to include standard STOCK orders as of the relevant date in the calculation of the investment proposal of orders, he must select this date. Otherwise, orders to date remain included. Each investment proposal can be named arbitrarily.

Buttons:

• Save - saves only the current form settings, no calculation is performed.
• Generate - always discards all changes and generates a suggestion for what is selected in the form.
• Recalculate - preserves fixed values from the suggestion and completes it with unfixed items according to the form settings.
• Export to IS - if export is implemented, suggestion is exported to the customer’s ERP or another action is performed, depending on the implementation.

Type of completion: you can select according to which parameter the completion is determined. Possible variants are:

• holding period, weight, quantity, volume and pre-prepared pallets that need to be specifically adjusted.

Type of increase

• Holding Period - Adds all products that will hold for a set amount of time
• Minimum value - The investment proposal is increased to the value entered here

Price selection for calculation

• Purchase price
• Stock price

Export

• Optional function with custom implementation for each customer.
• You need to create a specific export. Can be renamed and used for approval.

Discount rate

• You can enter the discount rate from the supplier, by which the price in the suggestion is reduced

Evaluation:

The evaluation of the suggestion shows at what discount the investment purchase will pay off, with regard to the additional stock that would arise from the implementation of the proposal. The prerequisite for this functionality is a completed WACC for all products.
