Report: Dead stock list

Report Dead stock list serves for quick identification of those items that are staying in warehouses for a long time, take up space in warehouses and bind company’s capital. STOCK calculates dead stock as items that did not have any warehouse transaction in the past 12 months, i.e. the item was not demanded by the customer.

The most important column in the report table is the column Months with sale / amount of last months. Here you can see the amount of months in which this item was sold to a customer from the past 12 months. The current month is not taken into account.

Example: The value 0/12 shows items with no sale transaction in the past 12 months. If the item does not have a history for the whole 12 months, the value will be calculated with regards to available data, i.e. the item, that was enlisted to the warehouse only 6 months ago, the dead stock will be shown as 0/6.

By ticking the check-box “Include sales of subordinate warehouses” the item sales, that were originally evaluated separately for each warehouse, will include also sales of the same item from subordinate warehouses as well. The “dead stock” attribute at the central warehouse will then be given only to the item, that did not have any sales transaction in any subordinate warehouses (branches) in the selected period.
