Module: Production

Executive summary

The module activates production management. Thanks to the module, you can set up bill of materials (BOM) for each product.

In the module, you set raw materials (M1, M2, …) and the resulting quantity of the product (P). BOM can have an unlimited hierarchy: raw material M1 may have more (sub)raw materials (MM1, MM2, etc.) from which it is produced.

The module is designed only to set up the production and BOM. These setting are further used in a number of related modules, such as setting safety stock, multilevel ordering for production, and other extension modules and settings.
