Supply management¶
Supply management is one of the most popular functions used by our customers. It is but a typical STOCK product: based on sales forecasts, STOCK determines what exactly should be in stock, what and when to order or transfer.
The module optimizes flow of goods from suppliers (through production and central warehouses, if needed) to various branches.
Our model of supply management first defines and describes the logistical structure of the company; then it describes ways to deliver goods to various warehouses; subsequently it sets the expected service level; and then it suggests orders – which then STOCK (optionally) further optimizes using a set of algorithms designed to suit a specific problem.
There are five subsections in this section:
- Distribution model of a company
- Setting attributes of a supplier
- Service level management
